CAKE ICING FOR DECORATING

Ingredients

· 1/2 cup butter

· 1/2 cup shortening

· 4 cups powdered sugar

· 2-4 tablespoons milk

· 1 teaspoon vanilla


Directions

1) Cream butter and shortening, and add vanilla.

2) Gradually add powdered sugar.

3) Add milk by the TBSP until icing is desired consistency and color with food coloring or icing.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Whip together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Mix in the vanilla and gradually stir in the sugar. Make sure to refrigerator any that is left over.
