FINGER FOOD
BEARY GOOD SANDWICHES

This finger food sandwich is easy and fun. Cut one 2-inch circle and one-1 inch circle of bread for each sandwich. I use whole wheat for the nutrition value and the brown bear color but you can use white if you choose. Cut the smaller circle in half and place them on the bear for ears. On
the larger circle of bread, spread a thin layer of peanut butter in the
center but do not go all the way to the edge. Place two blueberries on
for the eyes, the cherry or a cherry tomato for the nose and a slice of
strawberry for the mouth. Since children under one are not
advised to eat peanut butter and some children (of all ages) are
allergic to peanut butter, sunflower butter is a great alternative and
can be found in the health food section of most grocery stores. You can also use cream cheese (tinted if you wish) or any other sandwich filler. This is a great snack for your child to help make.
