HONEY COOKIES
These honey recipes are a great addition to a Bee themed party.Ingredients · 1 cup margarine · 1 cup brown sugar, packed · 2 eggs · 6 tablespoons honey · 1 teaspoon vanilla · 3 1/2 cups flour · 2 teaspoons baking soda
Directions 1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2)
Combine ingredients in this order: Cream the margarine and sugar with
an electric mixer. Add eggs, 6 tablespoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon
vanilla and blend until smooth with the mixer. 3) Into this mixture, add flour and baking soda. Mix into a thick dough. 4) Chill dough until firm, preferably in freezer, approximately 2 hours. 5) Pull off small pieces and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
HONEY OATMEAL COOKIES

Ingredients· 1 cup honey · 1 egg · 3/4 cup shortening · 1/4 cup water · 1 teaspoon vanilla extract · 3 cups rolled oats · 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour · 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions 1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2) Beat together shortening, honey, egg, water, and vanilla until creamy. Add combined remaining ingredients; mix well. 3) Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
HONEY YOGURT DIP

3 cups of vanilla yogurt1 tablespoon of honey Mix together then cover and refrigerate. Serve with fresh fruit.
HONEY GLAZE BARS
2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg, beaten 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup oil 1/4 cup honey 1 cup pecans, chopped Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon water 1 teaspoon vanilla 1) Preheat oven to 325F. 2) Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside. 3) Mix sugar, oil, egg, honey and pecans. Add to flour mixture. 4) Put in 9 x 13 inch ungreased pan. 5) Prepare ingredients for glaze. 6) Glaze while warm. 7) Slice and serve like brownies. Serves 12
