SUMMER FUN PUNCH RECIPE
POOL PARTY PUNCH This punch is
especially fun served in a punch bowl with miniature floating ducks.
Use light up ducks for a real splash! Our life preserver ice ring is a
great idea as well.1 liter carbonated lemon-lime beverage 1/2 gallon blue Hawaiian Punch drink 1/2 pint pineapple sherbet 6 ounces apple juice, frozen Whip cream or vanilla ice cream Pour
Hawaiian punch into punch bowl and add soda. Add frozen apple juice
and scoop sherbet on top. Lightly stir and add whip cream or scoops of
vanilla ice cream on top. Serve immediately. CLEAR WATER PUNCHThis
is a good punch if you are using an ice ring or floating objects that
are blue or that you want to stand out. It’s a great recipe if you are
serving your punch out of a fish bowl too. Add some gummy or sweedish
fish or colored fish shaped ice cubes. Add a very tiny drop of blue
food coloring if you want. 1 large frozen lemonade concentrate 1 large can frozen white grape juice, diluted with Sprite or 7-Up Combine the ingredients into punch bowl and gently stir. Add water if it is too strong. HULA LUAU PUNCHThis punch is a great to pour into cups garnished with a parasol or palm tree drinking straws. 2 liters of lemon-lime flavored carbonated drink (Sprite and 7-Up are great) 1 can pineapple juice 1 can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed Mix
the juices together then slowly add the carbonated soda and allow the
fizz to settle. Freeze overnight in large plastic container. Let the
punch thaw for several hours before serving. It should be slushy but
not frozen. BLUE HAWAII PUNCHThis punch is a breeze and is a perfect island beverage when served in a punch bowl with a festive flower ice ring. 1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice 1 (46 oz.) orange juice 1 (12 oz.) frozen lemonade 4 pkgs. Blue Kool Aid 3 cups sugar 4 quarts water 1 qt. gingerale or lemon-lime flavored carbonated drink Combine all of ingredients and chill in freezer until it is almost slushy. Add ice ring, if desired. Serve. MAKING WAVES PUNCHSurf’s up! Add some floating miniature surf boards and this punch is sure to have the guests hanging ten. 2 bottles clear Hawaiian punch or Gatorade 2 pitchers Blue Raspberry Kool Aid (follow directions on envelope) 2 pints pineapple or blueberry (if blue) sherbet 2 liters carbonated lemon-lime drink (Sprite or 7-up work well) Mix everything but the sherbet which is scooped on just before serving. Smooth if desired and add miniature surfboards. SEA FOAM PUNCHCreate
a sea world with this punch by serving from a gold fish bowl or small
aquarium. Place frozen gummy fish or gummy sharks in the water and even
add some miniature toy sail boats. ¼ ounce of Berry Blue unsweetened Kool-Aid powdered drink mix 3/4 cup white sugar 2 liters lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage like Sprite or 7-Up 64 ounces white cranberry juice 8 scoops vanilla ice cream Stir together the Kool-Aid drink mix powder with carbonated beverage and white cranberry juice until well combined. Stir in sugar until well disolved. Place scoops of ice cream on the top of the punch. When it begins to melt, it will resemble ocean foam. You can substitute whip cream for the ice cream if you prefer. Add
blue food coloring (preferably Wilton) if the color is not a deep
enough blue. You can also add a tiny bit of green if you like the
blue-green ocean effect. TIKI PUNCHThis
drink is great to serve from festive island drink containers like this
pink pineapple sipper. Or, serve in punch bowl with a pretty Hawaiian
flower ice ring. 2 bottles (16 ounces each) cranberry juice cocktail, chilled 2 bottles (12 ounces each) lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled 1-2 sliced lemons 1-2 sliced limes Just before serving, mix the cranberry juice cocktail and carbonated beverage in a large pitcher; add sliced lemon and lime. FLIP-FLOP PUCKER PUNCHCurl
their toes with this sweet and sour punch drink that is sure to make
them pucker. For an unexpected fun twist, add a flip-flop ice ring. ½ cup sugar 1 cup water 4 cups apple juice 1 cup real lemon juice Heat
sugar with water until the sugar completely dissolves. Pour it into a
pitcher, and stir in apple juice and lemon juice. Add ice ring, if
desired, and serve. FLIP-FLOP FLOATING CANDLE PUNCHLight
up the faces of your guests when you with decorate this punch with
floating flip-flop candles. This punch recipe is green so the candles
will stand out but you can change the color by using a different flavor
soft drink mix. 1 (4.6 ounce) package green lime flavored sweetened soft drink mix (like Kool-Aid) 1 (46 fluid ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice 1 liter lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed DIRECTIONS In
a punch bowl prepare drink mix according to package instructions. Stir
in pineapple juice and lemon-lime soda. Slowly mix in the concentrated
orange juice and lemonade. Chill until ready to serve. Add
a drop or two of green food coloring if desired. Or, if you are using
another color, add that color of food coloring instead. PAIL ALEFill
a pail with this punch for buckets of fun. Serve with a sand shovel.
Add a floating duck or even a light up floating duck. If you are
feeling real adventurous, you can drop in some frozen gummy worms for a
slimy surprise. 1 quart pineapple juice 1 package Kool-aid (color of your choice) 2 quarts ginger ale Mix Kool-aid and pineapple juice together and freeze until slushy. Just before serving, add the ginger ale. If you are floating a duck or boat in your pail, choose blue or clear Kool-aid to resemble water. If you are using gummy worms, use yellow Kool-aid to look like sand.
